My current research focus on optimizing Human-AI collaboration and information retrieval, and my interests revolve around Chain-of-Thought of Multimodal Large Language Model (MLLM), Interactive Information Retrieval, and HCI. I also have developed multiple web applications.

Chain-of-Thought Re-ranking for Image Retrieval Tasks

  • Proposed a training-free re-ranking framework using Multimodal Large Language Models (MLLMs) to refine image retrieval results through sophisticated reasoning.
  • Introduces a Chain-of-Thought prompting strategy that guides MLLMs through three key steps:
    •    • Deconstructing queries into semantic elements.
    •    • Evaluating candidate images with detailed justification.
    •    • Performing fine-grained list-wise re-ranking via comparative analysis.

Investigate Human-AI Collaboration through Crowdsourcing

This project aims to investigate the relationship between human’s delegation skills and willingness to delegate tasks to AI in image classification problem.

Our goal is to identify the solutions to optimize human-AI collaboration performance.

We are conducting experiments on Amazon Mechanical Turk to collect crowdsourced data from participants.

Uniform Project

AOB uniform app is combining AI technology to bring innovation in traditional uniform measurement in Hong Kong. In the traditional uniform buying process, parents and children need to either visit the uniform company or wait for the company to do the body measurement in the school. By using our app, parents and children can take the body measurement and receive the size suggestion in purchasing a uniform at any time and anywhere.

My role:
